The second NKG Model Contest has taken place at the LuccaComics Convention.
This time the contest has been a success with 52 concurrents enrolled to the contest and 144 models exposed. The Lucca Comics fair had some problems because of the bad weather (rain), too much people coming to the fair (someone tells about 65000 people) and for last around 15:00 the organization of the fair finished the tickets and no more people could enter due to security orders, all this in the 01/11/03. We ahd been lucky that the ending day was a sunny one and we had no more problems. I taked part to the contest beeing one of the three judges. It has been a hard work because the overall level of the works was high making hard to determine the winners.
I think that everyone is worthy to win, but now take a look to all the models exposed.

Here is the NKG staff that worked at his best in this second edition. From Left : Francesco (Ebola), Dario (Morph), Ottavio (Big8), Luca (LucaZ), Stephen (I am), Daniele (Golem).	this are out of contest models because they taked part to a web contest organized by the same site. On the left the Gundam Puchu and on the right the ZAku Ghostbuster.	Other two out of contest: on the left the zaku of Kamenrider, the other is a ZakuMarine conversion from HGUC model made by myself.	No word needed for the model of LucaZ, the BredaPlus. He is the second Judge with me.

Here is the 1/220 Dra-C that I'm also scratchbuilding.	A beautifull realized Thidirium . (scale1/72)	Good work also on this NuGundam (1/100) that taked Bronze.	This cinese boath is inspired from a tvfiction series not much known.	Here are the models of Bottoni that earned the Silver Prize with Tarzan. Other figures were not at the same level

Here you start to see the works of Osvaldo Belli, an outsider of sculpting figures from west comics.	Osvaldo Belli's Works	Osvaldo Belli's Works.the Dago earned the Best of Class.	Here is the Sazabi by Golem that earned silver prize. Some little thing to improve but it's style is very personne.l

This are all works of Manini, ha has very original ideas but this models must suffer for the too much contests because we found a lot of cracks on the figures and the paint. Tha "ALIEN MOVIE SET" has earned the Bronze prize			This Anakin's Podracer is very beautifull and taked the Gold
