ZAKU JUMP ATTACK
Zaku F2 - BClub - Scale 1/144 - Resin
Core Booster - Bandai - Scale 1/144 - Plastic

I made this diorama with an old recast (one of the first) made some years ago of a ZAKU F2 by B-Club 1/144 GarageKit that I wanted to not see more on my shelves and the plastic kit of the CoreBooster 1/144 Bandai. The story is of a special Zaku that likes to Jump to catch airplanes, and here borns the “Jumping Zaku”. I studied a long time for this diorama but I never started when last month I’ve seen the E2046 Contest and I started to work on. The GK of Zaku is not one of the best, even if it’s steady, I had some works to do because I hadn’t made a good recast work. I modified the Head, the foots (new soles and trusters), adjusted Jet pack with new trusters (form other kits), modified the side trusters of the lower legs and for last I made the hand and the axe that had the big work to support the corebooster. On the first I looked to use the Axe of the Zaku MG but it was too weak and small, so I started with a brass rod and I constructed around it the hand and the Axe making one that is very good for my model. All modifies are made with plasticard and Attack. At the end I started painting them with Gunze and Tamiya Colors and wheatering with oil colors. The base may look unusual but I was in a hurry to finish the model for the contest so I used the best I found at that time.
