"Duel"
The LM-B4 has been taken from E2046 and is very near perfection as molds, sometimes better of the original one. The Cross Mirage is an original 1/144 GK by Wave and this kit has a very bad resin so Ihand't no displease to cut and drill him to make combat signs. This signs have been made with a motortool and a ball point and after this I made the melted part (beeing the swords in fss heat ones) with Tamiya epoxy putty slow and modelled with a wet ballpoint metal tool. The painting started with the azure and all other have been applied masking the selected part. For the LM-B4 I had the same painting work starting with the metallic base of the scheleton with a black oil wash and a final drybrush with Boltgun from citadel. The armour has taken me the greater part of the time because red is very difficult for shading. For the red I used principally tamiya and Phebeo colors. For the gold on the front of bust I started with tamiya gold with an addiction of clear yellow and orange.
the other parts you see on the head and the front arms covers is from a paint used to make old the picture frame. For last the sword were I used a rubbing metallizer and on the middle I sprayed Gunze Burt Iron so it Seems that only the cutting edge of blade has been sharpened. The two blades on the head have been painted with the same color od the skeleton and shaded from a more clear tone to a deeper one and after I sprayed a clear cote mixed with pearlescent powder that gived an irridescent glare.
The Base is made with a wooden core and covered with Chalk miked with a little white glue then painted with various washes and drybrush with various colors. The script "DUEL" has been sculpted from a piece of chalk with an old cutterblade and I painted it so it seems it have been written with an heated blade (the clear red over a silver base and a drybrush around starting from red to clear yellow.)
