How
to make Cables
Parte 2
Semi-rigid Cables
You need to find some cables as those you find on venetian blind or some
little nautical cable. We can start with a piece of cable (the size you
need) a little longher than you needs. You may cover it with Cyanocrilate
(pay attention to your fingers), not to much. When the Cyanocrilate is
hard (as in Photo) you are ready to paint it with the color desired.

Here I wnated to make a metallic finish cable , so I painted it with a
base of flat black and I leaved it to dry. After tha base color Dried
well I used the Drybrush Technique seen on the other Cables Tip to make
thetexture came out .Here I used the metallic color.

Once the cable is dry I can cut the parts you don't need and put it where
you think .Here I used to make a Power cable for the Jag-Doga model.

Flexible Cables
For this cables (good for those full action models) you should proceed
in the same way as seen before, you only don.'t need to putt glue on the
cable.

To make easier to plug the cords in the holes on the models you can make,
with some masking tape , little strips as needed on the model (if you
want to see the strip as iff it is a plug ring make it more large.)

Wrap the strip around the cable as on the left Photo and put a little
amount of Cianocrylate on to stop it. Make the same at the other end of
cable. At this point you should take a drill of the size of the cable
end and you make one hole where needed. You can see the results on the
photo under here.
