These tools are inexpensive and very usefull for a lot of works. You should go into a tools shop and find the best for your kind of works.

(ATTENTION !! If you are Under 16 years ask to an adult to help you because some tools are very dangerous !!)

These are small files that are good work little works on metal and plastic parts. Remeber to clean them with a hard brush. You can find some inexpensive kits like this one you see on photo.

A big file for for big works. Sometimes you may have to sand big parts and this is the best way. I use a File for iron that has a smaller grain and don't destroy all the piece.

Sand paper - I advice you to buy some good one that you can use also wet (those for car body-repairer) of various grains. The most used size by me are 220 - 400- 600 - 1000 -1200. For fine works use the 1000 - 1200 paper under running water so the paper doesnt stick with the plastic powder.
